Afolabi Oladele

Chair, Nigeria’s Impact Investing Foundation and Vice Chair, Nigerian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing

Had a 24-year successful career in the oil & gas industry, across several organizations before joining African Capital Alliance, Nigeria’s premier private equity company in 1999. 

At ACA, he worked with many ACA’s investee companies in various value-adding roles including serving on boards and providing interface with ACA’s limited partners.  He retired from ACA at the end of 2019. Afolabi is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and post-graduate certificates in petroleum economics and management. 

He remains active serving on the Boards of several companies in oil and gas production and financial services sectors. He currently chairs Nigeria’s Impact Investing Foundation and is Vice Chairman of Nigerian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing.
