Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe is a seasoned physician leader with over 15 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare operations, and quality management.

On May 1, 2025, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer of EHA Clinics, becoming the first non-founding CEO in the organization’s history. In this role, she provides strategic and operational leadership that clearly focuses on people-centered care, strengthening health systems, and sustainable innovation.

Dr. Ilodibe’s journey at EHA Clinics began in October 2019 as Practice and Quality Assurance Manager at the Abuja Clinic. In that role, she supervised all clinical teams and led key quality assurance processes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she established and managed EHA Clinics’ isolation center and played a pivotal role in pandemic response coordination. She was also part of the quality team that implemented processes leading to the successful JCI accreditation of EHA Clinics Kano.

She was promoted in 2022 to Vice President of Medical Services, Quality, and Patient Safety, where she oversaw safe and efficient care delivery across all facilities. Her demonstrated leadership and commitment to excellence led to her promotion in 2024 to Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer, where she provided strategic oversight of clinical operations, patient safety, and quality management.

Dr. Ilodibe earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Medical Sciences and Medicine & Surgery from the University of Ghana Medical School. She returned to Nigeria and gained extensive clinical experience before transitioning into healthcare administration at Bridge Clinic Fertility Center, where she served as Clinic Administrator for five and a half years.

She holds a Master’s in International Health Management and Leadership from the University of Sheffield, UK, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association of Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), USA. Additionally, she is a Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and a Certified Crucial Conversations Trainer.

Now, as CEO, Dr. Ilodibe leads EHA Clinics with a vision anchored in the organization’s “True North” of Zero Harm, Zero Wait, and Zero Waste, with a focus on expanding access, driving high-quality primary care, and delivering patient-centered innovation across Nigeria.
