Maame Tutua Dadson is a seasoned corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience specializing in corporate commercial transactions, private equity & venture capital deals and legislative review. She has a robust background in advising private equity firms and portfolio companies on fund formation, growth capital investments, and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Maame is known for her strategic insights and ability to navigate intricate legal landscapes, ensuring that her clients, both LPs and GPs, achieve their business objectives while adhering to legal requirements. She has worked on high-stakes private equity deals, conducting thorough due diligence, drafting fund agreements, and negotiating terms to optimize client interests. She has previously worked on proposed legislation and regulatory guidelines impacting the private equity sector, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders and has a keen understanding of the regulatory environment affecting private equity, venture capital and corporate finance.
She manages Stafford Law, an Accra-based law firm, and was part of the consortium team that worked on the “Study on Africa as a jurisdiction for domiciliation of investment vehicles”. She has contributed to several initiatives to developing the private equity and venture capital ecosystem.
