Hannah Barbosa is Director of Trade Policy and Market Access for Africa at the Department for Business and Trade, the UK Government’s Department for economic growth, supporting businesses to invest, grow and export. An experienced diplomat and policy-maker, her expertise spans negotiations on EU agricultural and single market legislation, the negotiation and implementation of the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement and UK-Africa trade policy. Based in Ghana, she leads UK efforts to implement and improve trading arrangements with partners and to tackle market access barriers faced by UK firms, to boost bilateral trade and investment.
