Alix Pinel is a Partner at Enko Capital, an Africa-focused asset management firm. Founded in 2008, Enko Capital manages over US$1.6 billion in debt, private debt, equity and private equity investments across Africa. The firm’s funds include an African macro debt fund, a pan-African private equity fund targeting mid-market growth companies with a strong ESG focus, a pan-African impact-focused private credit fund, and two local SME funds offering long-term, flexible growth capital in local currency to SMEs in Rwanda and the WAEMU region.

Alix plays a key leadership role in Enko Capital’s private equity activities and is actively involved in deal origination and execution, portfolio management, and corporate governance.

Before joining Enko Capital, she held several management positions at BNP Paribas in the US and Europe, where she was Head of Group Strategy and supported strategic acquisitions and divestitures for the bank. She also gained extensive development finance experience at Proparco (AFD Group), where she structured investments across infrastructure, agribusiness, and financial institutions in Africa and Asia.

Alix holds an MSc from HEC Paris and is a CFA charterholder.
