Conor Brosnan was a founding member and director of Small Foundation in 2007 and joined the executive team in 2015 after 15 years in the investment management industry. Conor has been CEO since early 2018.

Prior to this, Conor was Head of Research at Abbey Capital, an investment management company specialising in providing alternative investment solutions to international investors. Conor is currently a non-executive director of Abbey Capital and its parent company Cavendish Capital.

Conor holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies (Finance) from UCD’s Smurfit Business School and a BA (Hons) in English and History from Trinity College Dublin.

Small Foundation is a philanthropic foundation based in Ireland. Its mission is to catalyse and scale income-generating opportunities for people living in extreme poverty in rural sub-Saharan Africa.

As CEO, Conor works closely with the team on many of Small Foundation’s partnerships and has overall responsibility for delivering on Small Foundation’s vision, mission and goal.
