Emmanuel Alex Yaw Asiedu is one of Africa’s leading voices in values-driven investment and institutional transformation. He currently serves as CEO of Right to Dream Ghana, where he oversees West African operations for one of the world’s foremost football and education academies – dedicated to nurturing exceptional talent and shaping future African leaders.
Alex chairs Impact Investing Ghana, the country’s National Advisory Board for mobilizing capital toward sustainable and inclusive development. He previously led Standard Bank Group’s Africa Regions Investment Management business and served as Managing Director of Stanbic Investment Management Services, with a pan-African mandate across key financial markets.
He currently serves on several influential boards, including Letshego Ghana, Legacy Girls College, the Achimota Endowment Trust, and is a faculty member at Ashesi University’s Centre for Leadership. He has also previously served on the boards of the Venture Capital Trust Fund of Ghana, the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), among others – institutions central to advancing innovation and inclusive development in Ghana.
A Yale World Fellow, Alex is widely respected for his strategic clarity, ethical leadership, and deep commitment to youth empowerment. He continues to influence Africa’s investment and development landscape by shaping institutions and platforms that deliver innovation, inclusion, and long-term impact.
