With experience spanning over a decade in Fintech, AgriTech, and Technology, Nana is a high-growth serial entrepreneur dedicated to continuous learning and developing tech solutions for underserved markets. Nana holds an MPhil. n Agricultural Engineering with a focus on Machine Systems and Technology. He is passionate about addressing challenges in Africa’s Food Systems, access to finance, markets, hunger, and climate change. In Ghana, he spearheaded the creation of Africa’s first crowdfunding regulations to open up retail financing to small and medium-sized businesses
Nana represented Africa’s Private Sector and articulated their Priorities for Trade & Sustainable Investment at the 32nd Session of the FAO Regional Conference for Africa. Currently, Nana is spearheading Grow For Me’s Pan-African growth strategy after successfully deploying the first farmer-centric service on the largest mobile money platform in Ghana, MTN-Mobile Money. This provides farmers with a ready market, inputs, training, insurance, loans and savings.
As a father of two amazing kids, a Pastor, Mandela Washington Fellow, and a MEST alumni, he hopes to see the hoe and cutlass disappear from the farm in his generation while ensuring that post-harvest losses are reduced.
