David is an investment banker with many years of experience in African capital markets. His work in the private markets have covered setup and structuring of private debt funds and the structuring and delivery of technical assistance programs. In the public markets, he has led several equity and debt capital raising transactions across financial services, infrastructure, energy and FMCG’s. David’s market building work includes developing markets for ETFs, Green and Sustainable Bonds, Commercial Papers, and Fixed Income.

At the GHISP, David has led the work on preparing a private sector framework for climate finance in Ghana and research on 2X and BOLD eligible companies. Both initiatives have led to supporting target companies to find capital.

David consults for Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA) and British International Investments (BII).
