The Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF), established in 2004 under Act 680, is a government-backed fund of funds mandated to provide long-term financing to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through investments in licensed fund managers. VCTF also supports the development of Ghana’s venture capital and private equity ecosystem through capacity-building, policy advocacy, and strategic ecosystem initiatives.
