Gbenga has over 29 years’ experience and manages Àrgentil’s private equity and principal investing
business. Àrgentil has invested in 16 companies with deal value in excess of ~US$50m and 7 exits
and is currently raising its 3rd fund targeting investments in agribusiness, consumer goods and
services, agribusiness and technology in West Africa.

Previously, Gbenga was responsible for originating, and executing private equity transactions in
West Africa at Aureos Capital. He also worked with Standard Bank London and Stanbic Bank
Nigeria in various corporate and project finance roles. He holds an MSc. from University College
London and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
