Percival Ampomah is a seasoned finance and investment professional with extensive expertise in private equity and venture capital. He joined the Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF) as Consultant (General Manager) in April 2024. A qualified lawyer specialising in corporate and commercial practice, Percival previously held executive leadership roles at some of Ghana’s largest financial institutions, including General Manager of a leading asset management company and General Manager of Prime Equity Investments at the Ghana Growth Fund. As Deputy General Manager and Head of Investments at VCTF, he provided strategic leadership for venture capital funds, angel investments, and impact investment vehicles. He has served as a Board Member of the Ghana Alternative Exchange (GAX) and currently sits on the boards of six companies. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with applied experience in business valuation and investment appraisal in Ghana and the United States. His academic credentials include a Private Equity and Venture Capital Certificate from Harvard Business School, a Venture Capital Executive Education Certificate from the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley), an MSc in Finance from the University of Durham Business School, and an LLB (Honours) from GIMPA Law School.
