Olamide Adeosun is a Director at Kuramo Capital, a leading private equity firm focused on emerging and frontier markets. With over 12 years of experience spanning private equity, venture capital, and the public sector, he brings a distinctive perspective on Africa’s investment landscape. He began his career at Kuramo in New York on the finance and audit teams before moving to Lagos for the investment team, where he deployed over $100 million across private equity, public equity managers, and direct technology investments. He subsequently served in Nigeria’s Ministry of Finance, leading reform on intervention programmes YouWin! and Project Nollywood; gained experience supporting global startups in accessing African markets; and worked in venture capital, building a top-quartile track record with four exits across more than 20 investments. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Economics from Morehouse College.
